I feel kind of like a weirdo writing this on here, hopefully it doesn't offend anyone... One of my best guy friends is stationed in Iraq right now and I'm sending him and some of his buddies a care package of things they need, but... I'm wondering.. am I allowed to send them magazines like Playboy? I don't want to send anything they wont be allowed to keep! Any information would be so helpful!! Danimarie23@hotmail.com

Our department at work have been sending care packages Irag/Afganstan for about a year. The other day Lt. Col. Gibson who just recently returned oversea came to visit ua and thank us. It was nice hearing the side of the soldiers for a change. I got a whole new perspective about what is happening. I just want you all to know that everyone at home loves, misses and prays for your safe return home every day. We appreciate your everyday sacrifices. But I know now that I will spread the world to remind every person I talk to that there are always 2 sides to the news stories we hear. And not to think of the bad things that are happening, but to look at all the good thing that all of you are accomplishing, new school, help women and children who are terrified of Americans, furnish medical aid and much much more. And last but not least, you are trying to teach people about freedom and love. I love you all and we are totally and absolutely behind you!

Happy Memorial Day! My husband and I want to say a special "Thank You" to all of you who are serving your country. It is so hard to leave your family, friends, and all the things you enjoy, so that others may someday know freedom and safety in the way American's do. THANK YOU! Thank you for serving so that we may never know another September 11. Thank you for putting your life in harms way so that we may always be free. May you come home safe, may you find peace within yourself for what you have had to see and do, and enjoy freedom when you do! God Bless you and keep you safe! THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts!

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for all you do. I know you're missing your families, and I know that families missing you. Just remember that you have risen above others to think about more than yourselves, but to allow everyone to live a life. Thank you. God Bless you. And please watch out for each other. As my husband says, "The only easy day was yesterday." Some of you will know what that means. I thank you again, my children thank you, and their unborn children thank you.

JUST A WORD OF THANKS FOR OUR TROOPS. I AM A POLICE OFFICER AND WHAT I DO IS NOTHING COMPARED TO THE SACRIFICES OUR TROOPS MAKE EVERY DAY SO THAT WE ARE SECURE AT HOME.PEOPLE WHO CRITICIZE OUR GOVERNMENT FOR THIS WAR WERE EASY TO ANGER AFTER 9/11 BUT HOW QUICK THEY FORGET.IT IS TIME FOR OUR COUNTRY TO STAND UP FOR WHAT WE BELIEVE IN AND SUPPORT OUR TROOPS 100%! GOD BLESS ALL OF YOU!!!!
