We all look at the same sun each day and the same moon at night. You are never as far away as you think you are. Don't believe for a moment that you are forgotten. You are in our thoughts always. Someone somewhere cares very much about you. Thank you.

I would like to remind everyone that the "Veterans of Foreign Wars" has a program called "Operation Uplink". Operation Uplink provides free phone cards to our troops overseas. This is a big morale booster. Being a Vietnam veteran, I couldn't imagine how great it would have been if I was able to talk to family while I was there. Just about every VFW Post has fund raising programs for Operation Uplink. Please check with your local VFW Post to make a donation, or visit http://www.vfw.org . Also please visit http://kokomo-vfw-rites.org .
