I am not exactly sure I understand why you are there. But I do know you believe to protect and serve your country. I am part of this country and that means you are protecting me and my family. war is crazy not to mention political, but all wars are. Some times we do what you must even if others may not see or understand. But One thing I do see is you all are not here home with your families and friends. being far away from home, I know you miss your families, friends and even your pets. Right now You may even miss that irratating nieghbor next door who lets her dog poop on your lawn and constantly steels you morning paper off your porch. And They all miss you too. ( even the nieghbors dog!) I know this because I have so many friends that have one or many family members over there. they talk about you often with so much pride, but yet you can see the ache for your return, and the fear for your safety. My father was a vet, he served in the Air Force. He was a devoted patriot to his country. The fourth of July is his favoritest of any holiday. Because he believed it is a holiday of great history to our exsitent in America Today. This holiday is not based on fables and tales. It was based on generations of factual history. We grew up watching his pride for his country, and we learned that we should always band together and protect our freedom. Every year My brother and I have a huge party on the fourth for our dad. we invite freinds and famly, even strangers sometimes show up to our eats and fun and display of fireworks. And we always made sure it was the one time out of the year that our father knew he didnt protect us in vien. This year will be the first one with out him. And I will feel that ache all my friends feel when those special days come upon us and our loved ones are not there with us. I hope and wish you all to be safe and to come home soon to your families. This fourth of july I will throw a dog on the barbie for you and have a cold one wiating on ice. and when my brother lights the fuse and our proud colors fill the ski. I will think of you all with pride and bravery. Be safe and come home soon. Cheryl Lamb

Please accept my sincere support and debt to you! You might think our Father has looked away from you, but you're wrong. He has spoken back to me to contact you and express my feelings. Please remember always, that many people back home appreciate your courage and honor. Many don't. But I work in a place where I raise and lower our flag every day. When it is with me, I hold it close to my heart. Please remember that it is you that allows me to feel that way. God Bless YOU! God Bless the U.S., and may he guide you to him in the path that is necessary. I don't know you, but I love you. You are welcome with me anytime! I think about our fighting forces daily, and many are like me. Please pray for your safety as I do. Our Father is with you. I'm a coward in your presence. You are nearer to God than anybody here in the U.S. could ever think of being. May he place a shield before you and hold you in his hand. I pray that he hold you, not me!!! War is not the act of God, but of men. May God have mercy on all of us starting with you and your brothers (male or female) on the front lines. Please e-mail me at twolfer2 @ yahoo. com so I know you received this message. I recieve mail at; Tom Wolf, 2631 Montclair St., San Diego, CA 92104

Hello Troops, My family and I fully understand and appreciate what you all are doing as you fullfill your missions in Iraq, Afghanistan and other places around the world. I just want to say thank you for watching our backs, and protecting our children. We care about you, you make us so proud to be Americans and when your job is done, get home safely. Also, btw, about a month ago I sent the Troops a "care package". I sent it to an address I got through the supportyourtroops website. I sent via... Any Soldier, Sharpley, Michele L., D8 Tech FOB Loyalty, etc. If anyone at the aforementioned address or if anyone who knows Michele Sharpley, or, people at that address, reads this message, ..please contact me and maybe I can figure out if the package got where it needed to go ! That may not be a feasable or realistic request, but what the heck. It would be nice to know for confidence when I send another. In any case, God Bless You All and God Bless The USA. Ever Onward.

To be as strong and dedicated as our troops is something we all have to be proud of. And should thank them every day for going through this and putting their lifes on the line. It takes a special person to have that kind of power and strengh. I wish that every one of you will come home soon and be able to live a peacefull life. My love is with you in Iraq, and I hope I will get to meet him when he returns back home this August. I love you so much and I am so proud of you. You mean so much to me.
